The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund is a philanthropic organisation based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to support species conservation initiatives globally. The Fund provides small grants for in situ species conservation projects enabling passionate individuals to conduct targeted conservation work. The Fund is open to applications from conservationists worldwide and will potentially support projects focused on any threatened plant, animal and fungus species, subject to approval by independent reviewers. There is no bias of geography, other funding, or organizational affiliation, with the intention that dedication and effective conservation work is rewarded through a flexible structure responsive to conservation needs.
