Dahari

The NGO Dahari (www.daharicomores.org) was created in 2013, a key result of the pilot ECDD project (www.ecddcomoros.org). Its mission is to shape sustainable and productive landscapes with Comorian communities and core interventions cover biodiversity conservation, natural resource management and biodiversity conservation. We have worked to improve the yields of over 3500 farmers whilst putting in place the first management regimes for forest and biodiversity hotspots in the country. Mid 2015 we have 40 employees, the support of 14 regional and international funders, and partnerships with over 20 organisations in the Comoros and internationally.
