Youth Conservation Corps Lebanon
Proportion of the area of the contribution comprising Key Biodiversity Areas: 0.9%
The Youth Conservation Corps program, a 6-month training program targeting capacity development, skill building and career improvement for youth 18-24 yrs old, under a partnership with the US Forest Service International Programs and the LAU-ACE and approved by the Ministry of Environment. So far 92 youth from all over Lebanon were trained from all regions of Lebanon, since the first cohort in 2021.
