DescriptionLas tierras comunales de Poaquil (municipio de San José Poaquil, Chimaltenango), son administradas por organizaciones del pueblo indígena maya-kaqchikel, principalmente, la Cofradía Ancestral del mencionado municipio con la colaboración de la Alcaldía Indígena. Las tierras comunales corresponden a tres, denominadas de la siguiente forma: 1) Panimaya', que corresponde a la de mayor extensión, 2) Chiraxaj, siendo la segunda de mayor extensión territorial, y 3) Q'ojon Ab´äj, como la más pequeña de extensión.
