Description | AERF has been working on avoiding deforestation and ensuring conservation globally endangered species on private lands by creation of community reserve, developing certified deforestation free value chains and incentivising conservation of private forests over a long term in the Sahyadri Konkan Corridor. These efforts have resulted in conservation of 6000 acres of biodiversity rich community forests in the Western Ghats global biodiversity hotspot. |
