Description | A total of 2200 saplings of native species were planted from 21.6.2024 to 25.6.2024. To promote ground cover seed ball spreading activities were undertaken involving school children. A preliminary survey of the area under restoration was done to understand erosion and water logging problems. Suitable species for plantations were procured. Plantations were done after the first shower of rain. Awareness programs among the villagers will continue on the importance of plantations and the responsibility of everyone toward plantations Watering, manuring, and replacement of plants in case of mortality will be done in post-monsoon. |
