To enhance public awareness and understanding of snow leopard ecology and conservation needs, the Snow Leopards Foundation (SLF) actively engages in a variety of educational and awareness-raising events. These events are designed to inform stakeholders, including local communities, policymakers, and the general public, about the importance of snow leopard conservation and the critical role these majestic animals play in maintaining the health of their ecosystems. Through workshops, seminars, and public outreach campaigns, SLF aims to foster a sense of stewardship and responsibility toward the protection of snow leopards and their habitats. In addition to participating in educational events, SLF is dedicated to developing comprehensive resource materials for conservation education.

Potential conservation benefits in saving biodiversity

Potential reduction of species extinction risk resulting from threat abatement actions

Absolute value (STAR)

133.6

0% of the total biodiversity conservation potential of Asia is covered by this project.

309,761.9

25.9% of global biodiversity conservation potential is from Asia.

The chart below represents the relative disaggregation of the selected contribution's total potential opportunity for reducing global species extinction risk through taking actions to abate different threats to species within its boundaries. The percentages refer to the amount of the total opportunity that could potentially be achieved through abating that particular threat.
